GEVA Promotes Sustainable Vietnamese Agriculture at Vietnam International Sourcing Expo 2025
GEVA made a strong mark at the Vietnam International Sourcing Expo 2025, held from September 4 to 6. The project showed Vietnam’s drive for sustainable agriculture and green trade. Each word here links closely to the next.
Key Highlights at the Expo
- Extensive Networking: GEVA set up seven one-on-one B2B sessions. Global buyers met GEVA teams. Almost 70 international partners joined the talks.
- Diverse Product Showcase: Seventeen local enterprises joined GEVA’s network. They displayed many products. Spices, nuts, coffee, and value-added goods came from local farms.
- Sustainability Focus: Every product met Voluntary Sustainability Standards. Each item showed clear proof of eco care and transparency. Global markets now expect these traits.
- Collaborative Efforts: GEVA teamed up with the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association. The Swiss Import Promotion Programme helped as well. Together, they pushed Vietnam’s agricultural exports.
Empowering Vietnamese SMEs for Global Markets
KisStartup leads GEVA under the SwissTrade Programme. The Swiss government funds this work. GEVA helps small and medium agricultural businesses. It gives advice, training, and market access. These SMEs meet strict sustainability rules. Nguyen Dang Tuan Minh, KisStartup’s founder, stated, “Sustainability is not optional. Vietnamese suppliers must meet these standards to join global supply chains.”
Advancing Vietnam’s Green Trade Presence
The expo booth had a modern, eco-friendly design. It echoed Vietnam’s culture. Visitors from home and abroad found it engaging. After the event, GEVA shared company profiles with buyers. This step builds lasting links. It strengthens Vietnam’s reputation and opens paths for growing green trade.
Looking Forward
GEVA’s role at the expo marks an important moment in sustainable exports. The project plans to grow buyer connections and build more partnerships. These efforts boost Vietnam’s place in competitive, eco-friendly markets around the world.
