Ambitious Recycling and Material Use Targets

Aptar wants 100% of its plastic packaging to be recycled. This goal helps set the company as a leader in change. It works with its customers to meet full recycling and reuse by 2025. Today, its plastic solutions are recyclable where local groups can process them.

Aptar also aims to mix at least 10% recycled content in its dispensing tools. These tools serve beauty, personal care, home use, and food and drink. This work faces rules and limits on recycled stuff. The firm tests new tech like post-consumer and food-safe recycled resins.

Certification and Transparency

Aptar shows its green claims with ISCC Plus certification. This system links each step in the feedstock chain to prove its traceability. As of 2021, 10 European sites, from Spain to Italy, have earned this proof. More sites plan to join soon.
