Background and Impact
SNAPP began in 2014 as a small test. It now helps small agri-food producers in Northern Ontario make better, added-value products. The Rural Agri-innovation Network in Sault Ste. Marie runs the program. Funding renewed in 2023 keeps the program active until at least 2026. This step supports long-term local innovation and sustainability.
Application Deadline
Proposals must be sent by March 13, 2026.
This program builds a strong, sustainable northern agriculture. It also drives innovation, boosts productivity, and protects the environment.
