ARMEDANGELS Partners with Spinnova to Advance Sustainable Textile Innovation

On December 11, 2025, Spinnova Plc announced a strategic partnership with German sustainable fashion brand ARMEDANGELS to develop more eco-friendly products using SPINNOVA® fibre. This collaboration is formalized through a non-binding Letter of Intent (LOI), securing ARMEDANGELS’ access to Spinnova’s innovative fibre for future collections.

A Shared Commitment to Sustainability and Ethical Fashion

ARMEDANGELS, renowned for its dedication to sustainable and ethical production since 2007, emphasizes transparent supply chains, fair labor conditions, and the use of innovative, environmentally responsible materials. Their exacting criteria for materials include origin, processing, durability, and social and environmental impact.

Spinnova’s Breakthrough Fibre Technology

Based in Finland, Spinnova has developed patented technology that produces textile fibres from wood pulp and various waste materials—including leather, textile, and agricultural residues—without harmful chemicals. The mechanical process avoids dissolving and generates no side streams, resulting in fibres with minimal CO2 emissions and water usage. Additionally, SPINNOVA® fibre is biodegradable and recyclable, with a natural feel akin to cotton.
