Scope certificates are not product proof
A scope certificate covers a supplier’s facility and processes. It is not, by itself, proof that a specific garment you are holding is certified — that needs a transaction certificate, which our suppliers do not publish per garment. We say this plainly rather than imply more than the paperwork supports.
What we don’t claim
- We don’t make carbon-neutral, net-zero or offset-shipping claims.
- We don’t quantify environmental savings (no “X% less water” style figures) — no lifecycle assessment backs a number like that.
- We don’t make quantified durability claims (“lasts 10 years”). We can say a piece is built to last; we won’t put a number on it.
