supplier membership
GOTS · GRS · OCS · PETA-Approved Vegan — and our supplier Stanley/Stella is a Fair Wear Foundation member (independent factory labor audits). Certificate numbers are published on our certifications page.
Why certification matters: conventional cotton accounts for roughly 16% of global insecticide use while covering only about 2.5% of the world’s cropland — Textile Exchange. Certified organic cotton is grown without them; a GOTS certificate is how you verify that claim instead of trusting it.

From the founder
I started Design Delight Studio in 2024 because I was tired of sustainability claims nobody could check. Every garment we sell is made to order — no overproduction, no landfill inventory — and every material claim traces to a certificate you can read yourself. This journal is where we publish the evidence: care guides, certification explainers, and the unpolished work of building a small Boston brand properly.
